Dermal Fillers
Injectable dermal fillers, sometimes referred to as soft tissue fillers, can be used to diminish the appearance of facial fine lines and wrinkles, and we can also use them to enhance volume and fullness.
Over time, subcutaneous fat in our faces naturally decreases, as does the collagen that helps keep our skin full and tight. This causes the facial muscles to sit closer to the skin, making wrinkles like crow’s feet and smile lines more pronounced. The facial skin also stretches as we age, and this can cause a lack of facial volume. Sun exposure, lifestyle, and genetics can also cause the skin to appear aged.
Dermal filler injections can plump thin lips, enhance shallow contours, soften facial creases/wrinkles, improve the appearance of recessed scars, reconstruct contour deformities in the face and decrease or remove the shadow of the lower lids.
Filler can last from up to 6 months all the way to 2 years depending on the filler purchased.

Liquid Facelift
A liquid facelift is a minimally invasive alternative to a surgical facelift for many of our patients. This treatment uses both neurotoxins and dermal fillers to reduce signs of aging such as sagging, loss of volume, and wrinkles.
A liquid facelift is a combination of neurotoxins and filler so the neurotoxins will need touch ups every 3-6 months, and the dermal fillers will need touch ups every 6 months to 2 years!
Preparing for Treatment
The key step in preparing for dermal filler treatments is to attend a private consultation with one of our rejuvenation experts. During this appointment, your provider will examine your face and you will have the opportunity to share your aesthetic frustrations and goals. You will be fully educated about your options, and together you will decide on the best injectable treatment plan for you.
The Injectable Filler Treatment Experience
The injectable filler treatment experience is fast and comfortable. You will recline in a comfortable treatment chair, and your skin may be numbed with an anesthetic cream, and most dermal fillers contain lidocaine to ensure your comfort. Your practitioner will clean the treatment area, then use a fine needle or cannula to carefully place the injectable dermal filler.
Recovery after Injectable Fillers
Injectable dermal fillers don’t require any downtime or recovery period. You may notice some mild redness, but that will quickly and naturally resolve.

Are there any side effects to injectable dermal fillers?
Any cosmetic procedure is associated with some risks, but cosmetic dermal fillers are generally safe and associated with few side effects. Side effects, while very rare, may include allergic reaction. Patients may also experience mild and temporary redness, bruising, and tenderness at the injection site.
How long do results last?
Results vary according to the injectable or dermal fillers used during your treatment. Dermal filler results may last 6 months to 2 years. Results may vary from patient to patient.
What is the cost of treatment with dermal fillers?
The cost of your injectable treatment will be based on factors like the amount and type of filler used. During your consultation, you will be given a detailed cost breakdown for your personalized treatment plan.
Can I combine dermal fillers with other treatments?
Absolutely. For more pronounced results, some patients combine injectables or dermal filler treatment with a chemical peel, dermaplaning, hydro jelly mask, or other skin rejuvenation treatments.
