What To Expect At Your Morpheus8 Treatment
Preparing For Morpheus8
On the day of your Morpheus8 treatment, do not wear makeup. Avoid self-tanning products and/or skincare products that may irritate the skin for at least four weeks before your appointment. Stop taking aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin A, vitamin E, and other fatty acids for at least one week before your treatment, and refrain from drinking alcohol and caffeine for at least 48 hours before your treatment.
Your Morpheus8 Treatment
Your Morpheus8 will be performed by our Certified Nurse Injector, Brooke Baima, who will begin by cleaning the skin and applying a topical anesthetic before beginning the procedure. She’ll then direct the Morpheus8 microneedling device handpiece to the targeted treatment area, running it in methodical motions over the skin’s surface.
Morpheus8 Recovery
After microneedling with radio frequency energy, there is no required downtime, but your skin will be red and slightly tender, much like a sunburn. Also, you may have tiny pinprick marks on your skin that crust and flake off. The redness usually dissipates within 24-48 hours, depending on the deepness of your treatment. Most patients return to work or resume social activities after one day.
For optimal results, for two days following your Morpheus8 treatment, you’ll need to avoid direct sun exposure and wear protective sunscreen every day, even when indoors. Do not use make-up on the treated area and refrain from intense work or strenuous exercise.

How Many RF Microneedling Sessions Will I Need?
Results may be achieved in as little as one treatment. For the most optimal outcome, we recommend a series of three Morpheus8 treatment sessions spaced 3-4 weeks apart. When Long Do Morpheus8 Results Last?
Visible results from Morpheus RF microneedling can be seen within a few days. Because the skin’s elastin tightens during the treatment, some patients will even see immediate improvement.
Typically, collagen renewal requires approximately six weeks, after which you’ll see noticeable results. Improvements will continue up to three months post-treatment. Morpheus8 results are permanent, and your skin will continue to age from its new point of improvement. Maintenance treatments are advised every 12 months to help maintain collagen production and keep your skin looking its best.
